Graduated from Touro College in Bay Shore, New York with a Post-Professional Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010. Prior education includes a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Hanzehogeschool van Groningen in the Netherlands in 1998.
Scott is currently co-owner, manager and therapist of Evolving Gait Physical Therapy in Medford, NY.
For more than twenty years, Scott’s physical therapy career has been focused primarily on assisting patients suffering from a range of mobility disorders that stem from prolonged hospitalizations, life changing injuries and neurological diseases. Scott’s ambition in helping people led to an early career working on teams of specialists in several sub-acute rehabilitation centers in NYC and Long Island. Scott is thankful for the specialized skills and techniques that he had learned during his formal education and professional seminars, as well as the great professionals that he had an opportunity to work beside through the years. Scott also distinguished himself by founding one of the first home visiting physical therapy practices on Long Island which created greater access to therapy for patients that have difficulty getting out of the home and to a clinic.
Born and raised on Long Island, he has always enjoyed the outdoors and surrounding waterways. When not assisting patients, you will find Scott cycling, skiing, hiking or boating with his friends and family, including his three children.
